DISCIPLE MAKING?
How do you measure disciple-making? Making disciples is at the heart of building a vibrant and healthy church community.
Church leaders can’t excel at their mission or truly help people unless they measure the results of their work by something much deeper than common metrics like attendance. This is the number one mistake churches make when they begin defining outcomes.
Research shows that 85 percent of bad outcomes can be attributed to flaws in the system, not mistakes by workers (source: W. Edwards Deming). Word of Life is an international youth organization that has developed a system (process) for Biblical outcomes.
The story of Word of Life started with the vision of the founder, Jack Wyrtzen, who believed: “It is the responsibility of each generation to reach their generation for Christ.”

WHAT IS IT?
THE YOUTH MINISTRIES SUMMIT IS AN INVITATION-ONLY GATHERING OF PASTORS, LEADERS WHO ARE INTENTIONAL ABOUT DEVELOPING A DISCIPLE-MAKING YOUTH CULTURE.
REGISTERED?
At this 3-day summit, we will build momentum for developing a disciple-making youth ministry movement. We keep things simple and focused on metrics that count. Pastors and leaders from across the Indo-Pacific come together with fresh ideas and participate in general sessions and breakout groups where they learn best practices from fellow leaders for being disciples and making disciples.
A pre-summit is held one day prior to the invitational summit. This is Youth Ministries 101. A basic youth ministries training called “core” will be held for those who want to teach core training to others, would like a refresher, or have never received this training before.
